The Self-management Adherence and Competence (SMAC) checklist is a fidelity checklist to evaluate the administration of complex treatments such as the GLA:D BACK programme.

Terms and conditions
The SMAC checklist can be used free of charge for scientific purposes as long as 1) it is used according to the users guide, 2) follow the specifications outlined in the original article, and 3) it is not modified.
Translation and cross-cultural adaptation of the SMAC checklist

Translation and cross-cultural adaptation of the PATH uses the English version (see below) and must follow the guidelines outlined by Beaton et al. → abstract.

Danish version → under development
This is the Danish version of the SMAC checklist is being updated to version 2.0. The checklist has been developed and will be further tested in a Danish setting of patients with with back pain enrolled in the GLA:D BACK programme.

This is the English version of the SMAC checklist. It has been translated and cross-culturally adapted into English using the first 3 phases of the method described by Beaton et al. (2000).
